Usage Dashboard

The Dashboard is the primary view in MeterMonitor. It shows meter event activity and customer usage data across all your Stripe billing meters.

Metrics at a glance

Metric	What it shows
Total events	Aggregate meter events ingested across all meters in the selected period
Active meters	Count of meters with at least one event in the period
Active customers	Count of customers with at least one meter event in the period
Top meter	The meter with the highest event volume

Usage trends

The usage trends chart shows event volume over time, broken down by meter. Use it to spot growth patterns, usage spikes, and periods with unexpected drops in activity.

You can toggle the chart between:

Total events — aggregate volume across all meters.

Per meter — individual lines for each active meter.

Per customer — top customer contribution by event count.

Customer usage table

The customer usage table lists each active customer with columns for:

Customer ID and display name.

Events per meter in the selected period.

Total events across all meters.

Last event timestamp.

Click a customer row to see their full usage detail — event history, meter breakdown, and subscription context.

Meter summary panel

The meter summary shows each Stripe billing meter and its key stats for the period:

Event count.

Distinct customers with events.

Peak day and peak hour.

Last event timestamp.

Note

MeterMonitor reads events from Stripe’s Billing Meter Events API. Events ingested directly to Stripe appear here after MeterMonitor’s next sync run. The last sync timestamp is shown at the top of the page.

Date range and filters

Use the date range picker at the top of the Dashboard to change the reporting window. The default view is the current billing period. Available presets include last 7 days, last 30 days, and the current and previous billing month.

Filter the table and chart by individual meter using the meter selector dropdown.

Data freshness

MeterMonitor syncs with Stripe continuously. The last sync timestamp is shown at the top of the page. Use Refresh to trigger an immediate sync if the view looks stale.
