What the MeterMonitor demo covers
Section titled “What the MeterMonitor demo covers”This is a live preview of MeterMonitor with sample data — no sign-in or billing source connection needed. The sample workspace uses Stripe; MeterMonitor also supports Metronome. It opens on Account Explorer and includes the same sections as the app: Account Explorer, Retention, Meter Health, Alerts, and Settings.
MeterMonitor helps teams see whether metered usage is healthy before it affects invoices, renewals, or customer reviews. In the demo, you can filter usage by date, meter, customer, and agreement status, then move from account-level usage into retention risk, meter health, alert rules, and digest settings.
Account Explorer
Section titled “Account Explorer”Account Explorer charts usage against customer subscriptions. It includes Day, Week, and Month date controls, meter and customer multi-select filters, subscription status filtering, a usage-over-time chart, matching customer counts, CSV export, and a customer rows table with subscription status, usage, and billing context.
Subscription status filters include Trial, Active, Canceled, Paused, Past Due, and Unpaid. The demo keeps usable customer and meter rows available across the filters so teams can see how a single account, a single meter, or a status segment changes the usage chart and customer table.
Retention
Section titled “Retention”Retention Intelligence summarizes Customer Retention, Active Metered customers, Renewals At Risk, and Recently Churned accounts. The Metered Cohort Retention Grid supports customer and quantity views, month and quarter resolution, and meter selection. Supporting tables cover Product / Meter Mix, Renewals At Risk, Recently Churned, and Recently Dormant accounts.
The retention view is meant to answer whether customers are still using the product strongly enough to renew. It surfaces renewal dates, current usage, previous 30-day usage, usage-drop signals, churned renewals, and dormant accounts whose usage has gone quiet.
Meter Health
Section titled “Meter Health”Meter Health focuses on the operational status of the metering layer. The demo includes meter telemetry, recent activity, ingestion health, reporting gaps, and meter-level status indicators so teams can spot broken or delayed usage feeds before billing drift becomes visible to customers.
Alerts
Section titled “Alerts”Alerts combines alert rules, alert events, and weekly digest previews. Rule cards include Usage Drop, Usage Spike, Payment Failure Cluster, and Large Renewal Approaching. Each rule shows enabled state, threshold context, and digest configuration.
Alert Events can be filtered by status and lookback window, exported to CSV, and reviewed in a table with Rule, Status, Severity, Date, Customer, Meter, and Details columns. The Weekly Digest Preview summarizes Usage Drop Exposure, Usage Spike Exposure, Payment Risk, Open Alert Items, Top Usage Changes, and Upcoming Renewals.
Settings
Section titled “Settings”Settings shows the operating controls for a MeterMonitor workspace: active customer counts, selected meters, alert and digest settings, billing source connection state, reporting preferences, and weekly digest configuration. These settings connect the usage analytics views to the active billing-source data and team notification workflows that keep billing operations current.
