Alerts and Digest

Configure usage and payment alert rules, review events, and preview weekly digest content.

Alerts helps teams monitor usage movement, payment risk, and renewal exposure without manually checking every customer or meter.

The Alerts page starts with current alert exposure:

Open Alerts — active alert events requiring review.
Usage Drop Exposure — metered usage currently flagged for contraction.
Usage Spike Exposure — sudden usage expansion that may affect invoices or infrastructure.
Failed Payment Accounts — active customer accounts involved in payment failure clusters.

MeterMonitor includes four structured alert rules:

Usage Drop — flags customers whose recent meter usage drops materially from baseline.
Usage Spike — flags sudden usage expansion before it surprises invoices or infrastructure.
Payment Failure Cluster — flags clusters of failed payments across active customer accounts.
Large Renewal Approaching — flags renewals whose current usage is a meaningful share of their meter.

Each rule can be enabled or paused, included in or excluded from the weekly digest, assigned a severity, and configured with rule-specific thresholds.

The Alert Events table shows recent event history with rule, status, severity, date, customer, meter, and details. You can filter by Open, Resolved, or All statuses, change the lookback window, page through results, and export the current view as CSV.

The Weekly Digest Preview shows the content that would be summarized for the current digest window:

Digest KPI cards for Usage Drop Exposure, Usage Spike Exposure, Payment Risk, and Open Alert Items.
Top Usage Changes — the largest customer-meter movements in the preview window.
Upcoming Renewals — large renewals approaching in the digest window.
